HALAL for Muslim, BULAL for Hindus ??

Islam has laws regarding which foods can and cannot be eaten and also on the proper method of slaughtering an animal for consumption, known as dhabiĥa or commonly known as Halal Food. Malaysia as a Islamic country with majority of its citizens Muslims, have a very good rules and regulation to safeguard the importance of Halal food.

I am a Malaysian, but not a Muslim, im a Hindu. I know well, even when im in primary school that, my Muslim Malaysians cannot eat pork, because it is not Halal. But do you know, what are the most prohibited food we cannot eat ? Even other Malaysians( non-Hindus ) MOST of the time don't know that we Hindus cannot eat anyting related to "Beef" because of our religious believe.

In the point of a view and personal experience as a Malaysian :

Few times i been hurt emotionally when i go to shop and my non-Hindu Malaysian server ask me for the Menu :

2 years back
I and my Chinese friend went to a shop. He order fried rice. My turn, i order a fried rice to, the waitress ask me BEEF or CHICKEN ?? As a fellow Malaysian is she suppost to know that i cannot eat meat. How she should understand , im a Malaysian Indian, Majority of us are Hindus, common sense. I know some, very some of Malaysian Indians are Christians, if they want beef let them tell. But most of the time she will encounter Malaysian Indian who are a Hindu.

As a Malaysian Indian i feel :
To slap her for her stupidity and does not respect other race religious believes.
As a Malaysian i feel :
ashamed and embarrassed, my fellow Malaysian not even know a simple information about his/her another Malaysian, pity.

Last week
I and my family went to a TOM YAM shop ,dinner. My father place the orders and he emphasise few time, no beef, only chicken, ....... again , no BEEF, ONLY CHICKEN. Because he a experienced man who know how well we Malaysian with different religious believes understand each others, lol.
After few minutes, the foods on our table and all of us helping our self get the Tom yam to our plate respectively. The lights at the shop quite dim, and i ate the tom yam soup first when my family members still taking the soup. I bite a meat, and it taste like mutton and not chicken. And i take it out of my mouth, and it is black in colour. I straight away stop my family members before they start take a single spoon. IT IS A BEEF, not chicken. I quite temper, my father, a good Malaysian. Not make any problem, nicely call the waitress, and she apologise. She say her cook does not know we cannot take beef. The cook dint bother about the order script, does not know about his other fellow Malaysians from other race(Hindus) cannot take beef, yet they running a famous Malay food shop in Malaysia.

As a Malaysian Indian i feel : We Hindus not strict enough about letting others know about what we can eat and what not.
As a Malaysian i feel : pity Malaysians who even cannot understand fellow Malaysian's culture, how going to improve their business internationally... wasting governments effort and money.

JUST ASKING YOU(be open minded) : If your a Muslim. Even you say no PORK, the waitress make you eat pork. How do you will react ??

As a minority( Malaysian Indian) it is not realistic to ask a law to protect Hindu's interest in what we cannot eat. Ask the government to come out any ting like "BULAL" for Malaysian Hindus. I just expecting better understanding among Malaysians especially the majorities. Don't just tell to others what you cannot eat and avoid other Malaysian friends cook for you, and put the HALAL stickers in all the shops. Try to understand about other Malaysians to, because we all Malaysians , but we ALL NOT FOLLOW THE SAME RELIGION.

First fix basic understandings among the race, before talk about big SLOGONS my dear fellow Malaysians.

Amanah Saham 1 Malaysia

Amanah Saham 1 Malaysia, or 1 Malaysia Unit Trust announced by our prime minister Dato Seri Najib 20 days ago as his gift for Malaysians as his 100th day as prime minister of Malaysia. Amanah saham 1 Malaysia will be distributed by Permodalan National Berhad(PNB).

Today 31st Julai, Prime Minister again confirmed amnah saham 1 Malaysia available for public staring coming Wednesday, 5th August. 100 unit of Amanah Saham 1 Malaysia will be awarded to all 50,000 standard one students worth of 5 million. 10 billion unit, biggest ever unit trust until now in Malaysia. Out of 10 billion unit 50% allocated for bumiputra, 30% for chinese, 15% for indians, and 5% lain lain.

Permodalan National Berhad(PNB) announce, RM 10 billion which will be collected from the sales of amanah saham satu malaysia will be invested in local multinational companies. It been estimated 3.7% - 4% interest will distributed annually. Compare to Amanah Saham Malaysia , this interest rate is low, where in ASM we will give 6% - 7% interest.

In my point of view, our prime minister approaching the aid of the citizens in lifting countries economy. On of the way is this unit trusts, billions of ringgit malaysia gained from Amanah Saham Malaysia and Amanah Saham 1 Malaysia sure will able to inject our country's economy. All we need is proper economic planning and implementation.

Kugan's Funeral

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 28 — A. Kugan was finally buried at 5.30pm today after mourners circled his casket and conducted last rites at the Puchong Batu 14 cemetery, eight days after his death in a police station reignited a public outcry about custodial deaths.

The 22-year-old was laid to rest after his hearse and thousands of mourners travelled 20km through hot sun and driving rain from the University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) to the USJ8 police station where he died before finally making its way to the cemetery.

The Selangor government has undertaken the costs of the funeral on "humanitarian grounds", Kapar MP S. Manickavasagam said, adding he had thanked Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim for the gesture.

During the funeral procession, thousands of mourners who accompanied his grieving family and several lawmakers had shouted "Polis Pembunuh" and "We want Justice" with some unfurling banners that said "Polis Pembunuh Berlesen".

The crowd slowed traffic in Puchong and brought it to a standstill in front of the USJ8 police station where a police helicopter hovered overhead during brief family prayers.

The crowd also shouted the name of Hindraf leader P. Uthayakumar and the outlawed organisation before leaving the police station as police watched but did not take action.

"The attendance shows the outrage of the public. I hope the Barisan Nasional government takes heed," said Sivarasa Rasiah, who is Subang MP, while joining the funeral procession.

"Eleven (policemen) have been identified but no arrest. This is telling the public that there is a double standard when investigating policemen," he added.

Despite some antagonism from the crowd, police had provided escort for the procession that began from the University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) at 1.45pm. During the journey to the police station, the crowd had cheered the police "Polis bagi escort" while others blasted the police, shouting "Polis pembunuh Kugan".

Police had earlier arrested five men wearing Hindraf T-shirts as they threw a tight cordon around the medical centre for the suspected car thief's funeral. They only allowed some 50 people, including family and several lawmakers, to claim Kugan's body.

Lawyer Gobind Singh Deo said family and friends paid respects at the mortuary five at a time. Police had earlier chased away reporters and nearly 100 supporters around the mortuary waiting to pay respects.

The Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) and Light Strike Force had cordoned off the teaching hospital this morning but crowds, responding to text messages, have turned up for the funeral procession. Several tried to go through the barricade but police ordered them to disperse.

Police arrested two men when the crowd was dispersing just after noon. The government had banned the Hindraf movement last year, making all its symbols illegal, after it organised a massive protest in November 2007. Five Hindraf leaders are under ISA detention.

Another two were arrested later for inciting the crowd, police said. They also wore Hindraf T-shirts.

The latest arrest is Hindraf legal adviser R.S. Thanendran, who also wore a Hindraf T-shirt.

"I don't see why anyone has been arrested. We are not here to make trouble," Gobind, who is also Puchong MP, told reporters.

"They are just here to pay last respects," said Kapar MP S. Manikavasagam, who said he will lodge a police report against Selangor police chief Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar for making conflicting statements over Kugan's death.

Kugan, a 22-year-old insurance claims executive, was arrested on Jan 14 for allegedly being involved in a luxury car-theft ring. He died on Jan 20 after drinking some water, police claimed. An initial autopsy said he died of "fluid in the lungs".

But the Attorney-General's Chambers has classified the case as murder after an outcry by the family and lawmakers, and a second autopsy over the weekend found external injuries and phlegm in his lungs.

The family and authorities are waiting for detailed toxicological and tissue tests in the final autopsy report.

Critics have said Kugan's death is the latest in custody deaths in Malaysia, mostly among Indians detained by police.

In 2007, then Internal Security Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi had stated there were 106 deaths in custody between 2000 and 2006. No updated statistics have been issued since then.

Lawyer N Surendan disagreed that it was a racial issue, saying it affected all Malaysians. "Deaths in detention happen to all races," he said.

Eleven police personnel from the USJ8 Taipan police station have been transferred to desk duties pending the outcome of the investigations. A special police team from the Bukit Aman federal headquarters is probing the case and authorities expect to make charges within a week.

EPL & TMS - Male & Female

Every guy's best entertainment EPL , Every women's best entertainment TMS , aahh TMS ??

EPL : english premier league TMS : Tamil Mega Serial

We already have
enough of many TMS articles , describing the effect of TMS on girls and aunties . But many of us, not aware that , there is a another entertainment make guys , uncles addicted to it . YES , one and only EPL .

Girl or woman who
addicted to TMS :
  • forget to do house work
  • forget to cook for family
  • reluctant to help on children's school work
Guys or uncle who addicted to EPL :
  • forget to bring family for outing
  • forget to attend family functions
  • not forget to pay astro bill , lol
Only football star aunty know is david beckham , Only football star young girls know is cristiano ronaldo .
Only drama star you and i know ( guys ) is

Only football team
aunty know is Brasil , Only football team young girls know is Manchester united .
One and only drama we guys know ,
DON't Know , lol

EPL's keys language , pass , counter attack , tackle , upset , joy , win , loose , draw , and GOOOOAAALLLL ....

Cast & Malaysian Indians - Still !!

First things first , before go in depth of this topic , let we see few definition and scope of this article :

Cast - In the Hinduism, there are casts. A cast is a rank that is given to a human already when it’s born.

Scope of this article : Rational thinking , Castism among Malaysian Indians ONLY .

This topic been in my mind since very long time , now the time come for to write about this sensitive issue . As usual , my idea for each topic provoked by my personal experience . Few weeks back , when and i and friends lepak(chit-chat) in mamak stall , we end up discussing about this cast things .

Even when im young teenager , my father try to teach me , about this cast related things , whenever he open this topic , i just will walk away , i simply don't want to know about cast , i afraid i also will end up being like them , practising Hindu cast system in 21st century .

Are this cast system still exist among Malaysian Indians? still practised ? You will be surprised if you get know that , Malaysian Indians still practising this nonsense until today , but i silence , very subtle , in other word , under the blanket , lol . Ya we can't see it officially , stated in any form , or asked openly . But this system still very much alive , don't believe me ?ok . Try this , especially when marriage time , if it is a love marriage , the hottest issue among the adults will be the cast of the guy site or girl site . I even got many personal experience , even thou my parents are friendly and OPEN MINDED , one day when i forced to argue about this cast issue to my father , the words he say that " IF you love and married a girl from a wrong cast , i won't even enter you house " i always will remember that words . I also find out that , many BF and GF , include my friends ,who in serious relationship , they already discus about this cast things , to satisfies their parents who blindly following the cast system and to make sure no problem appear from both site when getting marry in future . There are many other experience i faced regarding this cast , but it quite sensitive and hard to explained .

Now we look this system in more logical and rational point of view :
"At the beginning there were only four casts; the priest cast, the warrior cast, the worker cast, and the servant cast. When these casts were gradually broken, new casts came into being, and by the year 1900 there were about 3000 different casts in India."( sited , click here )

We Malaysian Indians origin from india , so we adopt almost ever tying from there . Ok , let us don't talk about India , no point talk about Hindus in India . Im not a Hinduism prof to do research and write about Hinduism , as a simple and humble Hindu , i only can think rationally in the sense of imagination about what happen thousands of years back .

As you can see , the fact above , originally there been only 4 cast in Hinduism . I admire Hinduism , because , each term or things( adat resam) we follow ,there will be good explanation behind it . That's the beauty of Hinduism . For sure , there will be very good reason behind the Cast System which formed by our great great ancestors .

In my point of view ....... In the ancient time , when the word "science" not exist, lol , people been live in the group base on their occupation , wealth and influence . For example , a man who work in grave yard , stay outside of the village , and the businessman live in the middle of the village , the well known worrier stay with king , and the brahmins stay in temple area . when time past by , when the Aryans conquer India , the Cast system been implemented to class this peoples . Because the normal labours not clean because of their work nature , they restricted from enter temple and other clean places . The worriers and businessman important for the village/country , so they given special priority . And the brahmins become soo special because they always with god/temple . On that time , no detergents for the labours to clean their self , dirty people stay dirty , no education that time , unknowledgeable people , stay unknowledgeable . In the long run it become a hard core CAST SYSTEM , and low cat people been discriminated in many ways . (ooopppfff , i had a very difficult time to explain this , not easy )

Now back to present tense . Im really sorry if i offend anyone , i have to say this : Preciously we can notice , so call low cast people's life style , house environment , and talking dialect , will make others to think twice to mix with them . Now everything change , modern live make everything look the same , having the same lifestyle , education level, and talking dialect , everything becoming more harder to be differentiated .

Again , lol , in my point of view , in this modern era , people who got good education , wealth , and high influence , are considered as the high cast of this century . People who don't have all of this , will be know as low cast .

A question for people who still following Cast System .
If you from a high cast people , what your cast can do for you ?
  1. Can get a lot of a land form state office?
  2. money for no reason from any bank?
  3. a degree or masters without going to collage/university?
  4. high pay salary , without any qualification ?
NONE of above , lol . Than , What make you still follow this useless CAST SYSTEM ??

Close Down All Tamil Schools - Should We ?

Most of the time i will get inspiration to write an article comes from conversation with my friends or personal observation . This post is the second type . two days back , when passing by few blogs , reading the articles , one particular article make me stop and read it until finish . By the time i finish read it , i decided to not just comment but write whole new article to reply that specific article . The title of the article is "Close Down All Tamil Schools" . The blogger just referring to an article which came out on year 2000 . But the way he argue the facts make me write this reply article . Note : i does not have any personal problem with him , just voicing out my point of view . If can read the article i talking about(click here) , before continue reading this article. Because i do not want cut and past his whole post into this article .

He started his article by connecting Tamil schools with gangsterism . Than relating , poor education system of
tamil schools lead to born of young Indian gangsters . Cool . He continued with by stating , not much can be achieved by learning tamil . He ask , all Tamil schools should be closed down , and all children should enrolled in National school. Later he suggest a solution to teach Tamil in National School .

How dare he can say all that , Tamil schools are image of Indians , the pride of each ethnic depends on their language , ........ Don't worry , i wont argue that same old hypocrite sentences . Let we talk in wider and more rational manner in discussing the fate of Tamil Schools .

Back to his point , Tamil schools born place for Indian gangsters because they can't cope up in secondary school . OK i admit that, if we now in the year before 1999 . Can't you see , Tamil schools transformed into a place which produce dozens straight 7A's students . Especially after year 2000 . Ya i admit , still there some drop outs , but not serious as he said . Compare and see , in
UPSR nowadays , Indian students from tamil schools getting Straight 7As are far more than the Indian student who get straight 5As in National Schools . He questioned the parents who neglect the future of their child by sending them to tamil school . Recent facts showing that , more and more Indian parents sending their child to tamil schools . Because they know which is good for their child .

"I studied in a national school and learnt to read, write and communicate in Tamil without much problem although my mother tongue is
Malayaalam. Isn't that enough?"(Part of his article) , My answer will be , not enough at all . Why ? with just read and communicate in Tamil can make him feel and do all this :

Culture -
Culture covers many aspects , few attributes which make a culture pride is ,
Litereture(Sastera) , holly song(tevarem) , historical facts( ramayanem , etc ) , prayers ( saraswathy poojei ) , adat resam( this in malay , i don't know how to mention it in english) and many more . A student in a tamil school will be thought in all this things indirectly though the Tamil school's teachers and culture . It is the way of life in Tamil schools . This atmosphere not possible at all for Indian students in National schools . A student can't feel non of this , by just knowing read and communicate in Tamil .

Entertainment -
Do you think and believe , a good song or movie only can be produced with in depth knowledge of that language ? For me yes , for example ,
tamil nadu's songs more superior in quality compare to tamil songs from any other part of the world . Why ? beside , music technology and good voice , lyrics of a song play the vital part in a song . If you notice each song is a quality poem . A poem will be manipulated with different words , music technology , and good voice to produce a famous and hit song . Even to sing a hip hop or rap song like our Yogi b or chacrasonic , we need a good lyrics and accurate pronunciation to come out with this kind songs . Do you think , with just read and communicate in Tamil , can make us do all this things properly ? If you think yes , Yogi b and chacrasinoc will be our last export of rapers to Tamil Nadu , lol .

I can go ahead and write whole day , but it is hard to explain this
sophisticated things , even the facts above i tried my best to explain with my not well verse engilsh .

Back to simple facts .
Im not Tamil school crony until neglect national unity . One school for all , only possible if :
  • No one have hidden agenda for the survival for their own language .
  • The government fair to all languages .
  • Everybody believe and given chance to believe that they are true Malaysians , and not so called Malaysians .
Sorry for the complication and the length of the article . I can't make it shorter or simpler with my not well versed english , lol .

NOTE : i invited the owner of the "Close Down All Tamil Schools" article to read and comment , lets wait and see .

Unsettled Public Facility

This is the picture of small public hall at the ground floor of a flat , near my place . why it looks like this ? Reason , few month back , approximately about 5 months , destroyed in fire . Before that , the small public hall been used by the flat residents for birthday , marriage function , and election campaign booth . The small public hall which been one of the use full flat facility , now out of order since last 5 months .

This place been visited by my area's
MP(Member of Parliament) and ADUN( Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri) . The drama here is , the MP( Indian ) is from KEADILAN , and the ADUN from UMNO . ADUN of my area , visited this place , and inform the residents of the flat that , there is enough fund available to fix this place immediately . But the residents do not want the ADUN fix the place . They want the MP of our area fix the place for them because most of them openly admit that they vote for this new opposition MP and now they want to see how this new MP replying their "mandat" . After few days, the MP came to this place , and the residents voice out their request . The MP replied that , this issue/problem under ADUN and he can't do much about it . Still the residents adamant , and they want the MP to solve this issues and not the ADUN . To satisfie the residents, the MP promised to fix the place and went back . No news from the MP after that , and the ADUN still waiting to fix the place , and this situation remain the same since last five months .

The point here , this public facility need to be fixed , but whose mistake is this ,until this small public hall not been fixed even after five months?
  • Is that the mistake of adamant flat residents who does not understand "bidang kuasa" of ADUN and MP ?
  • Is that the mistake of ADUN who fail to convince the adamant residents ?
  • or is that mistake of MP who make fault promise and make the residents wait?
End of the day , the residents didn't get anything , and the politicians not doing anything ......

Unwanted things , Wanted day

Deepavali is over , but im still in very much deepavali mood , lol . Everyone already back to their normal day life , but my mind still stick to deepavali mood and i cannot return to daily normal life . What im doing after deepavali until today ? Wednesday , went collage , than later night go dinner with friends , thursday , ponteng collage , sleep untill 11am , play game , night go watch movie with friends( seval - useless typical tamil movie ) , go for bowling , today(friday) , ponteng collage , sleep until 10.30am . play computer game , now planning to go genting , today night .

Last
monday , was Deepavali , but the festive atmosphere can be noticed since last friday , becasue many Indians start took off and actively moving around , preparing to celebrate festival of light . At the same time , this festival still comes with some unwanted activities/following which make the eyes of the observes have some negative perspective towards Deepavali . Hope this explains the meaning of the title .

Each unwanted points/activities below , came from my own experience mean which i saw with by own two eyes .
  • Two days before Deepavali , Saturday . Afternoon , I ride across shop lots . There are two "Kedai Pajak " and two jewelry shops there , both of the Kedai Pajak is full , full with our Indians , only Indians, hhhmmm. And other two jewelarry shop is empthy .Why we Indians still have to sell or "Gadai" our golds to celebrate Deepavali ......
  • A day before Deepavali , Sunday . I ride across a junction , main junction of my place . I notice three INDIANS , holding bear bottle(big) and enjoying their self . A malay uncle( pak haji ) , who riding his bike infront of me , shake his head with a cheap look . hhmmm...
  • Deepvali day , not bad , the Deepavali shows at TV2 and TV3 better than years before this . Better , Our artist( Indian Artist , mannin maitergal ) , took part in this shows wearing traditional costume and not in their normal jeans koyak . Yet , they sing a song from , their own new album which the lyrics sounds like this " Kamachi , love pannedi " , OMG , its Deepavali man , look at Malay artist on raya time , they in traditional costume , will sing same Hari Raya song , again and again . Why not our artist also do the same , rather than be selfish in promoting own album , hhhmmmmm
  • Two days before Deepavali(Saturday) until a day after Deepavali(tuesday) , our youngsters , their mineral water is bear(tiger , heiniken , etc) ,and wiskey( chivas , black label , etc ) . We understand , it is festive season , once or twice if necessary , we have this alcohol drinks to celebrate and share the joy with others, why our youngsters end up drinking this things every night or whenever meet thier friends in this festive season , hhmmmm
Unwanted things , Wanted day ...........
