Dear readers and followers, as we can see in the daily news and current nations political moves clearly indicating its preparation for the 13th National General Election. Last election is the worse for the ruling Barisan National(BN) and best for the sudden opposition coalition of Pakatan Rakyat(PR).

As a political observer, in my own point of view the next general election will be a do or die for the opposition coalitions and do or struggle for the ruling coalition.

The ruling coalition(BN), need to win back the seats they loose in the 12th national general election and gain real majority. This is important to make sure they can run the country and create new policies with minimal interruption. If they fail to do so, the opposition will have the chance to strengthen their influence and create strong holds in the parliament and state assembly seats which is currently under them. In 14th(approximately in 2016) general election the Barisan National will have very hard time to win back this seats. At the same time the ruling coalition need to find ways to curb the raging influence of opposition coalition especially among the youths(increasing number of new voters).

The opposition coalition(PR), first they need to hold on the seats they win in the 12th national general election. BN already start to work and align strategy to win back the areas/seats they lost to oppositions, straight away after the 12th national general election(year 2008). Now the challenge in the opposition coalition's door step, to keep the seats they win in the 12th national general election. The threat comes in monetary, media coverage, and national & local issues. The opposition leaders need to find ways to handle all this threat to maintain the parliament and state assembly seats. If the opposition coalition able to handle the 1st situation, than they can steadily strive forward the next goal, gain simple majority. The opposition need to find ways to win more seats/areas to get them at least a simple majority to become ruling party. By failing to do so, the ruling coalition can utilize the upcoming four or five years until the 14th national general election to minimize or distract the influence of PR in the country.

Influence = politics = political party, No Influence mean no political party.

Hi my dear blog readers,been months i last update this blog. But now im back. I really miss the blogging world and my dear Malaysian Indian Bloggers.

To our topic today. First of all congratulation to all who got their 2010 SPM recently.
No matter you got a very good result, just average or bad, each of you have a bright future. Especially Malaysian Indian Youth, now many government and non-government groups are down and running to help you guyz and girls.

First empower your self with the helps and advice available to you. To whom already decide their ambition the path is clear cut. But to those who still numbering your choice, this is the rite time get a good advice from right person/group.

1 Malaysia is buzz word in Malaysia since last year. Everywhere Everything is 1 Malaysia. The creator of this Theme is our PM - Dato Sri Mohd Najib:
The theme - 1Malaysia,
Slogan - RAKYAT DIDAHULUKAN - PENCAPAIAN DIUTAMAKAN( English - People first, Achievement is main priority).

Till today, i think millions of ringgit/dollar already been spend for this theme in the form of speech, stickers, advertisements and etc etc. The aim is to bring the REAL meaning of 1 Malaysia to the citizens of Malaysia.


In logic sense -
What we understand by 1 Malaysia? Everything is 1 in Malaysia ,NOTHING is 2 or 3. I think the slogan of 1 Malaysia not really suitable for 1Malaysia theme.

Suppose-
1 Malaysia should matched with better slogans which reflects real meaning like :

1. 1 Race, 1 Goal ( Bahasa Melayu - 1 Bangsa, 1 Matlamat)
2. ............ anything else

Or the Slogan purposely set in such way to not reflect 1Malaysia... Or 1Malaysia is just like a blanket to serve other purpoe like improvement of unity of races NOT to form 1 Malaysian race....

Wrong Target Group-
Who are the real audience for this theme?? For most of us.... we think this slogan most suit for the minorities.... But current situation proves that this slogan need to me mainly aimed towards people who really needing it.
We can see in web , newspaper, many minority groups organising 1Malaysia themed functions, include in religions functions:

1. Upcoming Ponggal festival in few temples.... themed 1 Malaysia (Malaysian Indians)
   
2. Aiyepen devotees sponsored 1 Malaysia T-shirt by Dato Saravanan ( Malaysian Indians)
3. Few Talks/speech Organised by MCA to spread 1 Malaysia concept (Malaysian Chinese)
4. etc etc

But, do the MAJORITY ethnic does get this concept rite..... Question mark arise when glance through recent happenings like:

1. Kepala Lembu issue
2. Attack on Church issue
3. etc etc..

Want to succeed the 1 Malaysia concept...... Try to educate MAJORITY ethnic group to understand and implement this wonderful concept. 1 Malaysia is a wonderful concept, all we need is - HONESTY, TOLERANCE( of majority), REAL IMPLEMENTATION( not just speeches and stickers on cars).

Hai my beloved readers and anybody who bump to this blog accidentally. Already 2 month not update this blog. Busy updating and setting up my another site.... townguyz.com. As usual, what the title and this article about ? A random tough while traveling in car bring me to write this article. This article is not to bash over Malaysian Education System AGAIN, worldwide point of view. We only going to see the purpose, output and difference between OLD modern education system(OMES) system and NEW modern education system(NMES). What do i mean by modern education system. Simple, people who go to school, university and training institute to gain official certificate or professional title. In this article i assume OMES is a education system before 1950s and NMES after 1950s.

Purpose of OMES:
Children thous days not compulsory to attend official schools. But very few go through OMES and reach the highest point by reaching Universities. One of the earliest, famous and well known Universities situated in Europe and US, and very few in other continents. Students study in universities because of thier own pure interest, eager, and passion towrads knowledge.

Pupose of NMES:
In many counties there is a law to compolsery childredn to attend school untill certain age or level. Higher education become a necesary to survice , to ensure good life in easy way. Offical certificates become employement requirements. Hence MOST people go through NMES , because they have to.

Output of OMES:
Purpose of OMES which we go thorough above, encourages many research, studies, and experiment conducted my self passionte students. As a result human kind discover many scietific and technological knowledge during the era of OMES. Most of the famous scientis who are famous untill today are the production of OMES..... simple example Albert Einstien.

Output of NMES:
Many findings already made by OMES, hence NMES students reach universities to study and enhance knowledge of OMES. Even the rocket science is generated from the findings of OMES. NMES studies give OMES aerospace and physics knowledge a practical form in the name of NASA and Space Shuttle. In simple words.... very few findings but lots of enhancement during NMES.

Problems during OMES:
Some of the main probles during that point time:
1) very low awareness towards importance of education
2) very limited facilites, family support.
3) not such low to must the formal education
4) limited or not infomation vailable to reffer to
5) Word War 1 & 2, civil war, territory expansion by superpowers.

Problems of NMES:
1) MANY go thorugh higher education becase it already become a neccessary for easy life. No education, no good work, no money.
2) Too many distraction, Internet, Television, Handphone, Extended Social Life, etc.
3) No extra time to to extra researh....... After graduation people rush for work, like a meachine, no time for extra research and produce new findings.....

Benefit of OMES:
People who reach the higest level of OMES will dedicate thier self for their specialisation. Spend more time do reseach, we sometimes call them mad profs if englsih movies. NO distraction of social need like, need go to work with fix time, need to fullfill other social need like buy good house, fast car, pay handphone bills , electric bills, have delicious food and leave a life which ruspected by the social like friends, and family.

Benefit of NMES:
Extensive information available with click of a button. Big funds available for ONLY the best research which have commercial values.

Conclusion, OMES and NMES , both have pros and cons. But in my point of view NMES not performing to the REAL purpose of education as good as OMES. Do you think the situation described in "Problems of NMES" can produce beneficial research and knowledge for mankind??
